I am Peter van der Wijngaard, born in Vlaardingen the Netherlands an avid photographer inspired by my father, initially started fanatically with slides.

Later on changed to digital photography but soon dropped that for a few years as I was not satisfied with the possibilities at that time.

I know own a Nikon D700 with a 28mm, a 50mm, a 85mm, a 105mm prime-lenses and a 70-300mm zoom lens.

My friends give me the title utensilist as I like to take pictures of used goods, tools, toys and equipment often strongly cropped to make minds think.

Currently taking a course character photography as I like peoples faces just the way they are.
